At AcuMeridian Wellness, we believe in working closely with each of our patients to address their health concerns and achieve optimal health. 

We provide personalized care to promote the well being of our patients on a physical, emotional, and spiritual levels using the principles and techniques of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

About Our Practitioners:

Dr. Carrie Koo, DACM, L.Ac.

Carrie is a board certified and licensed acupuncturist in the states of New Jersey and New York, as well as a nationally certified herbalist. She graduated valedictorian and received her MSTOM from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine(PCOM) in NYC, and  a Doctorate in Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine (DACM) from PCOM in San Diego.

In addition to receiving extensive training at the PCOM NYC Clinic, Carrie also interned at the Kamwo herbal pharmacy, as well as at the neurology unit of Lutheran Medical Center of Brooklyn, treating patients with neurological disorders or in post stroke recovery.

Before pursuing her life-long passion in Chinese medicine, Carrie received MS and BS degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and enjoyed working for the research and development organization of a major telecommunications company for many years.

In addition to her training in Chinese medicine, Carrie practices and teaches the Soaring Crane Style QiGong and has studied under the late QiGong Master Wu Yi. She also practices TaiChi and is a student of Master Zhang Gui Fong, a national level TaiChi and Martial Arts master from China who presides as a judge in many TaiChi competitions held in the US. One of Carrie's hobbies includes the study and practice of Chinese dance and she has taught Chinese classical and folk dances in a local Chinese school for many years.

Carrie is the founder of AcuMeridian Wellness Clinic. With the mission to provide personalized, high-quality care to her patients, Carrie not only draws on her medical training, but also on her life experiences in QiQong, TaiChi, as well as her training in logical thinking as an engineer to arrive at the best possible treatments for her patients. It is her goal to not only treat, but also educate and partner with her patients to achieve optimal health.

Carrie is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Dr. Jeff Pang, DA, L.Ac.

Jeff is a board certified and licensed in the states of New Jersey and New York. He received his BS degree from University of Arizona, and MSACdegree from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine of NY, and a Doctorate in Acupuncture (DA) from PCOM in San Diego.  Jeff comes from a lineage of Chinese medicine doctors in his family and is passionate in practicing Chinese Medicine.

Jeff is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
